aty is a passionate music teacher and student music therapist with a strong background in music education and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through music.

Her transition into music therapy was inspired by a desire to use music as a tool for emotional connection, healing, and growth. She brings a client-centred approach to her practice, with a strong focus on offering choice, fostering empowerment, and building meaningful therapeutic relationships. With a warm and empathetic presence, she adapts her musical interventions thoughtfully to meet the unique needs of each client, supporting their emotional, cognitive, and social well-being through music.
In addition to her clinical and educational background, Katy is also exploring the integration of technology into music therapy. She is currently developing adaptive musical instruments using 3D printing and Arduino, aiming to improve accessibility for clients with physical or sensory challenges.
